Quote From: Jeff Brown, is a professional potter, writes for "Clay Times" and is juried member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, the American Crafts Council, Past President of the New Hampshire Potters Guild and ceramics instructor at New Hampshire Institute of Art.

"MiracleBat out performs any bat on the market. It's innovative air chamber system prevents uneven drying and cracking. Pieces don't need undercutting, lift right off when leather hard, leaves nice smooth level bottoms. It doesn't rely on bat pins!" Jeff Brown goes on to say:

"Now, I have finally found a bat that works the way I want it to. It is easy to make large tall pots without the bat lifting from the wheel while I am throwing. Normally, I try to avoid using bats because they fly off the wheel head, warp when I take them off the wheel, or weigh so much that it wears on my wrists. These bats are rigid enough not to warp, but still light, and they attach and remove fast which makes them especially useful for production. If I had these bats when I was making 15 pound churns, and lamps in production, it would have been a lot easier. Maybe I'll start throwing larger pots again, and more often."
